Get to Know Dr. Elizabeth Kaplan
Dr. Molly Kaplan has spent more than half her career working at Rausch Family Dentistry, and every day she looks forward to forming long-term relationships with our patients and making a difference in people’s smiles and lives. She can’t wait to meet you and your loved ones soon here in Stone Mountain.
Why Did You Become a Dentist?
Growing up, Dr. Kaplan would go to her grandfather’s dental practice. Although it is now a yogurt shop in Virginia Highlands, visits to his practice made a powerful impression on her, motivating her own career choice in dentistry. She is proud to follow in his footsteps and bring a high level of care to every appointment.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
For her bachelor's degree, Dr. Kaplan went to Emory University and then attended dental school at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Originally from Atlanta, she is happy to call this area home and help more patients smile with confidence. In her continuing education, she has studied with the SPEAR Institute, which is one of the country’s most prestigious organizations.
What Do You Do Outside the Office?
With a husband and three young children, Dr. Kaplan stays pretty busy when she’s away from the dental office. In her spare time, she likes to run and read as well.
